Yelsa Connect’s operating systems are built on AWS, one of the world’s most advanced app technology platforms. Intelligent programming scans data and finds matches based on percentages, which sends notifications to the home Seller and the Buyer, advising of the match.
Yelsa Connect is designed to help you self manage the entire process. You can talk directly with the Seller, or they may choose to enlist the help of one of our approved Real Estate Licensees at any stage in the process. Contact the homeowner, or their appointed Real Estate Licensee, advise them you would be interested in making an offer, and ask how they would like to proceed.
With Yelsa Connect you create a unique profile which will always be available to you. Once you are registered, you can create either a buying or selling profile at any time. If you are no longer looking for property, your profile will not be visible to sellers.

Yelsa Connect is free to download and register as a Seller, and Sellers can create as many Selling Profiles as they require.
Sellers can request a free upgrade of their Selling Profile at any time. Upgrading your Selling Profile unlocks a second level of each Buyer’s Profile, and reveals more specific buying requirements, such as buyer names, contact information, and other specific buyer criteria like school zones, wheelchair access, proximity to public transport, etc. This additional buyer information gives you the luxury to contact, review and evaluate Buyers before you invite them to view your home.
Yelsa Connect welcomes properties which are listed for sale privately. If your property is already on the market, explore opportunities with your Real Estate Licensee to also list with Yelsa Connect.

Yes, you can request two 600mm x 900mm Yelsa Connect high profile sale boards with your property’s unique identifying code displayed. Extra or alternative sized sale boards are available strictly by arrangement and may be subject to additional charges. Note – the automated Yelsa Connect signboard delivery system will not be functioning prior to the 20th June 2020. In the interim, sign delivery will be manually arranged by a Yelsa Connect representative.
Yelsa Connect is designed to help you self-manage the entire selling process, or you can connect with one of our Yelsa-affiliated Real Estate Licensees. Yelsa-affiliated Real Estate Licensees provide exactly the same service that you would receive from any Real Estate Licensee in New Zealand. Licensees can conduct viewings on your behalf, prepare contracts and manage negotiations, ensuring you maximise the sale price of your home. You can engage a Licensees at any stage.
Yelsa Connect always recommends you seek legal advice. If you have engaged a Real Estate Licensee then ask the purchaser to communicate directly with the Real Estate Licensee. If you are managing the negotiations yourself, now is the time to contact your lawyer to assist you with the preparation of the appropriate sale and purchase agreement.
You will receive an email notification from Yelsa Connect once your Real Estate Licensee has accepted your invitation to provide professional services. They have 24 hours to respond. Yelsa Connect also sends an email reminder notification to Real Estate Licensees after 12 hours.
With Yelsa Connect you create a unique profile which will always be available to you. Once you are registered, you can create either a buying or selling profile at any time. If you are no longer selling a property, your specific listing will be removed.
When you sell your property (or if you’re no longer looking for a buyer) you edit the property profile and mark the status as sold or withdrawn. It will then be archived.

It’s free to create a Professional Profile and register on Yelsa Connect. Sellers can invite an Real Estate Licensee to represent the sale of their property from the Real Estate Licensee directory.
When you accept an invitation from a vendor to represent their home in a sale process, you are doing so in your capacity as a Real Estate Licensee, and independently of Yelsa Connect. Accordingly you are required to meet all of the usual obligations and requirements imposed upon you by the statute which governs your industry. You must comply with all of the established legal requirements incumbent on Real Estate Licensees when listing properties including (however not limited to) your obligations under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 and the Anti Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Act 2009.
The Yelsa Connect process starts with potential Buyers known to the home Sellers, so in effect you could be expected by a vendor to undertake your usual real estate work, starting from having contact details for these potential Buyers. You could be expected to arrange and conduct viewings with Buyers, receive instructions from purchasers, prepare and negotiate contracts, then industry typical contract management through to settlement.

If you are unable to provide professional services you can Decline the invitation. If you are going away on holiday or taking a break from Real Estate, you can set your profile to private and not show in the Real Estate Licensee directory until you reactivate the profile.
